Started in 2019, and born out of the need to further assist in the development of the South African Cycling , founders Neil MacDonald and Jamie Taylor set up an events based structure whereby ex riders with 1st hand knowledge and experience of what makes a race successful, will now be involved in not only giving back to the sport, but giving the riders what they want.

 

Through strategic partners  and sponsorships we create a platform where we maximize not only the exposure for the various brands involved , but a financial model that directly re-invests 100% of the riders entry fees  back into prize money and the careers of these professional sportsmen and woman.

“I was a Professional Cyclist for 15 years representing some of the biggest teams in South Africa racing locally and abroad. I achieved National Colours on 14 different occasions as well as captaining the team in two international tours. After a long career on the road (13 years) I decided to turn my attention to Mountain Biking where I was able to harness my abilities gained from Road Racing and use them to good effect achieving a number of top results in a short period of time. I am still very passionate about cycling in South Africa and would like to give back to a sport that I was involved in for so many years and share my knowledge with cycling’s future generation.”

“Having owned and managed officeguru racing at Junior and Professional level and spending numerous weekends at various events around the country and listening to what frustrated not only the riders but also the corporate that support the events , we decided to shake up the calendar. Having spent some time racing in Europe as a youngster and seeing the crowds supporting local racing we decided the existing structures although great for long distance , mass participation events, were not conducive to maximizing spectator value.  Welcome to prologue events.”
